The Heart that you trespassed

Heart is a strange place -

Rather than stating

Trespassers will be prosecuted

It blindly believes -

Trespassers will prosecute.

And trust me

They always do.

After all these years

I think of you

And repeat to myself

Those words you had once said

And live my life accordingly:

“Even if our story remains half-finished Mubashir

Always try and complete the poem

Always.”
